Selling or trading a very historic, rare, and valuable collection of documents, checks, letterheads, billheads, cancels, postcards, and misc. paper items from Virginia City, Nevada City, Iron Rod, Home Park, Alder, Alder Gulch, Ruby, and other surounding areas within Madison County, Montana. This collection consists of stagecoach waybills, Wells Fargo waybills, brewery labels (Unused) city and county government documents, saloons, blacksmith, hotel, restaurant, general Merchandise, lumber, printing, and just about every area of business in Virginia City dating from the 1870s throught he turn of the century. There is a document written and signed by the famous Solomon (Sol) Star of Deadwood fame. Sol Star was a Territorial Auditor of Montana Territory prior to his relocation to Deadwood with Sheriff Seth Bullock, Calamity Jane, and Wild Bill Hickok in 1876. This one document alone could fetch as much as 1000.00 to deadwood Collectors. Many Documents in this collection are of notable Montana Pioneers and related to the Vigilantes directly and indirectly. Much is from the Henry Elling and S.R. Buford firms. There is entirely too much to index, inventory, or list individually so if you are a serious and interested buyer, please call me or email by appointment only. The collection is housed in Billings, Montana in a private collection. I'm selling this German made Hubert Herr Cuckoo clock with a one-day movement. It cuckoos on the hour and half hour. Its about 14 inches tall and 11 inches wide. This clock has just been disassembled, cleaned and oiled and now its ready for years of service. I guarantee my work for one year and can provide references. I also repair mechanical clocks, so if you have any around that you'd like to get working, contact me. I have the skill, tools and experience to repair cuckoo clocks, mantle clocks, wall clocks and grandfather clocks. Costs are generally $80 -$100 if nothing is broken. In the early 90's Mattel made a new "hipper" Ken who was named Magic Earring Ken. But the new Ken was soon all the rage for not being hipper, but for being pretty flaming gay-looking, complete with club clothes and accessories. Mattel got a bit of flack about it and soon discontinued manufacuring of him. Not in a box but in perfect shape.
